Alice Zelasko of Clintonville passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2014 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born April 16, 1942 in the town of Grant, Clark Co. WI she is the daughter of the late Joseph Jr. and Mildred (Strebing) Struensee. She was married to Ronald Thomas Zelasko on August 10, 1961 in Chicago, IL. Alice and Ronald had one son, Ronald Thomas Jr. Alice lived her life in Glenview IL until her husband, a sergeant at the Glenview Police Department, passed on March 20, 1986. Her next journey in life led her to move to Henderson, NV to be closer to her son Ronald. After Alice decided Nevada was too hot for her, she decided to move closer to her family & birthplace of Neillsville, WI so she settled in Clintonville where she has spent the last 14+ years of her life. Her life in Clintonville led her to find a loving companion, Roger Bricco, whom she lost in July 2013 to cancer.
Alice is survived by a son, Ronald of Clintonville, WI; Brothers- Robert, Warren(Mary Jane), Darrell and Floyd(Carol) Struensee all from Neillsville, WI; Sisters- Shirley Bryan of Tullahome,TN and Carol(Jim) Kasun of Cedarburg, WI; Step brother Jerome Schreader of FL and step sister Geraldine Flegner of Sussex, WI.; Sisters-in-law- Erdine Payne and Lois Struensee of Neillsville, WI, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband and parents. Brothers- Dale and Richard Struensee; Nephews- Joey, Donald & Scott Struensee and Harry Rosinski Jr.; Step brothers- Harvey, Donald and James Schreader; Step Mother- Evelyn(Zuehlke)(Schreader) Struensee.
Services will be held on October 26, 1:30 pm at The Dells Dam Cemetery, Town of Levis, Clark Ave. off of Hwy. 95 So. Neillsville, WI. Fellowship will follow the service.
