Anita Laverne Collier, daughter of Dora Young (Edward Young)
and Edward Collier passed away unexpectedly at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, WI on January 4, 2021. Anita, which she preferred "Laverne", was born in Chicago, ILL, on April 15, 1964. She attended Mather High School and started her family of 6 shortly after. Laverne and Ronald Sr. had 4 children, Eric Young Jr., Ronald Johnson Jr., Jarrell Johnson, Cordell Johnson. The two were together since 1980, where they formed a
love so strong that Laverne and Ronald re-married on April 15, 2000. Even
though their life was in Chicago, ILL, Laverne and Ronald moved back and forth between Green Bay, WI and Appleton, WI to be closer to family as years went on. Laverne was very dedicated in making sure her family was took care of, and nothing came before her children and grandchildren. When she officially moved to Green Bay, WI, in 2013, Laverne worked her hardest and bought a beautiful home years later that she took pride in. To make sure she could have her gatherings and her Sunday dinners, in which she welcomed everyone. Laverne was someone you called for a laugh, ideas, and when it was time to PARTY! She enjoyed throwing gatherings for her loved ones and herself. She was truly a joyful, outgoing, and loved women. Someone that could truly light up any room she stepped in.

Laverne leaves behind, her husband Ronald J. Sr., her sons; Eric Y. Sr., Jarrell J. Sr., and Cordell J. Sr. Her Grandchildren; Alexis H., Isaac G., Ilianette Y., Eric Y. Jr., Azariah Y., Royalty Y., Jeremiah Y., Anneliese J., Nyianna J., Ronald J. Jr., Jarrell J. Jr., Niya J., Jahari J., Cordell J. Jr., Elliot J., Coriyanna J., and Jayceon J.
(Proceeds in death granddaughter Nakiyah J.)

She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters; Edward Y.
Jr., Gregory Y., Derrick Y. (Valerie Y.), Patricia C., Shawnice Y., Crystal C.,
(Proceed in death Vieta Y.)

From your son Martez: " A wife, a mother, a grandma too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your, you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother,
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest .
So go in peace, you've earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we'll enternally keep"

From your son Eric: " Your presence will always be missed and your name will never ne forgotten. I know you
well enough to know that your spirit will be watching over the family. You've been the greatest Mom any
person can ask for and for that I would not change any thing about you. You are now in a great place and
although you a strong women, God has your back. Ill see you again someday. I love you mama, your oldest son, Eric Young
