Tony passed on Saturday, August 20th at 11:53 p.m. after a 6 year battle with cancer caused by a Hep. C infection. He was 64 years old. Tony was born in Sturgeon Bay, WI before moving to Milford, MA with his family. He returned to Sturgeon Bay to be near his twin brothers, Tom and Jerry Hunt. The twins were heavily into car restoration and Tony learned by their side. If you know Tony at all, you know that his true passion was motorcycles. He loved to clean, tinker and ride. Anything Harley he had his heart. Tony spent most of his life working as a handyman. He could fix anything. I loved watching his mind work on a solution to any problem. I worked with him on one of his jobs and he was just a wonder to watch. He was so precise and such a perfectionist. Anybody that has something fixed or built by Tony Hunt will have it for a lifetime! Tony is survived by his wife, Katie Hunt, son, TJ Hunt, and grandson Alex Hyde. Cousin Richard Collins and Sister in Law Cheryl Hunt, nieces Laura and Tommy Jean. He is further survived by his very near and dear friends. He is preceded in death by siblings Tom, Jerry, Steve and Paula Hunt and his brother from another mother, Tim Blahnick. I would like to thank Amy and Kalie, and the entire nursing staff on the Oncology floor of Aurora Bay Care Hospital for their excellent care of him during his very too short stay as a hospice patient. Dr. Bista and Lisa W for the very loving and compassionate care for him during his cancer journey. And when that journey became painful, Ashley and Michelle in Palliative Care for helping him along. We will be having a celebration of all things Tony (hot rods, Harley's and Budweiser) on September 10th, 2022 at 2879 Lime Kiln Rd. There is a memorial ride being organized that will meet at the house on Lime Kiln at 11:00 a.m. We will have food and drinks served at the house when the ride is complete at around 3:00 p.m.
