Anthony F. Zuege, Manawa, WI, died peacefully on May 9th, 2022, at St. Joseph's Residence in New London. He was 78 years old. He was born in Milwaukee, WI to Clarence and Frances Zuege. He had 6 siblings (Clarence, Thomas, Janice, Elizabeth, Barbara, Margaret). He graduated from Boys Tech. He went on to work for the City of Milwaukee, Oaster and worked for Pabst Brewing Co. for over 20+ years until they closed their doors.
Tony married Dorene (Miller) April 16th, 1966, and from their union had three daughters: Karen, Linda & Catherine. In 1976 a niece, Penny, joined the family.
Tony was an avid outdoors man, hunting and fishing with his buddies at Jaks Camp on the Mississippi River. He also enjoyed spending time at his own cabin in Crandon, WI. He loved watching sports, Especially the Packers, Wisconsin Badger's & Milwaukee Brewers. He retired with his wife Dorene in Manawa, WI in 2008.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence; mother, Frances; brothers, Clarence & Thomas; sister, Barbara; daughter, Catherine.
Tony is survived by his wife, Dorene; daughters, Karen (Greg) Wagner & Linda Jasper; sisters, Janice Lehman & Margaret (Paul) Dittman; 5 grandchildren, Tina, Rose, Jessica, Jacob & Katie; 3 great-grandchildren, Levi, Greyson & Sonya, plus many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Eternal Life will be held on Saturday, May 21st, at Family of Christ Church in Clintonville, WI, at 3pm.
