Bonnalynn DeGrave (Andre) of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away at the age of 98 on November 28, 2021, at Emerald Bay Retirement Center, Hobart, Wisconsin.
Bonnie was born to Clayton and Laura (Schooley) Messecar in Waterford, Ontario, Canada on June 10, 1923. She moved to Detroit, Michigan with her family during her teen years, where she completed her training as a hairdresser. She eventually owned her own hair salon in Warren, Michigan. Bonnie moved to Green Bay in 1965 and later settled in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin where she married Gus (Roland) Andre.
Bonnie is survived by her three children: Sandra (Greg) Turrick of Cary, NC, Craig (Cecelia) Stone of Woodbridge, VA, Linda May of Royal Oak, MI. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie has two surviving sisters, Carol Allardyce of Orchard Lake, MI and Gail Pacos of Newport Coast, CA.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Gus Andre. They enjoyed many years together traveling extensively and boating in Sturgeon Bay. Bonnie loved watching all sports and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Many of her happiest moments were of family reunions, when her sisters and brother along with extended family, traveled across the country to be together. She was so very proud of her family and leaves behind many beautiful memories. She was beloved by all who knew her.
Bonnie also enjoyed her final years at Emerald Bay Retirement Center, where she touched the hearts of fellow residents and staff.
