Brenda Marie Plas-Whetung, 41, passed away unexpectedly, Dec. 17, 2017. Born July 6, 1976, she is the daughter of William Whetung and the late Linda (Rogers) Whetung-Marquardt. Brenda was a perpetual student who loved to learn especially anything history related and researching genealogy. She will always be remembered as a very devoted mother.
Brenda is survived by three children, Madden Whetung, Green Bay, Bryan Plas, Washington State, and Erika Martinez, Mexico; two grandchildren, Xavier and Xander Martinez, Mexico; William Whetung, Green Bay; aunts and uncles, Sharon Thyrion, Mike Whetung, Patricia Besson, Jenny Thyrion, Judy Nys, Jeff Whetung, Betty Rogers-Brown and Jim Rogers; and plethora cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda; two siblings, Willy and Missy; Uncle Gary; and all of her grandparents.
Visitation at Woodland Worship Center, 760 Airport Dr., Friday, Dec. 22nd, 11am until the time of the memorial service at 2pm. She will be laid to rest with her sister, Missy. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be given for the benefit of her son, Madden.
Brenda’s family extends a special thank you to her Uncle Jim who has always been there for Brenda through thick and thin.
