Camille Mitchell (Kay Brzezinski), age 89, passed away July 22, 2024, surrounded by love. The youngest of four children was born in Green Bay, WI, on February 12, 1935 to the late Leo and Frances Brzezinski (Broniszewski).
Camille (Kay) graduated from Pulaski High School with the class of 1953. She married Roger Mitchell on April 11, 1959. She went on to do many various jobs in her life. She worked at Wisconsin Bell for many years as a switchboard operator; HC Pranges; Howard Suamico School District and rescue squad, and many years for the Suamico voting polls. Camille (Kay) was a wonderful cook and magnificent baker--she was well known for her strawberry, raspberry and rhubarb pies, and could not make enough scotcheroos for her kids. She was the captain of the ship--making sure everyone got to where they were going: all those baseball games and school functions--even gave half the kids in Suamico rides home. She gave herself to so many, yet expecting nothing in return. She enjoyed many flowers but her favorites were gladiolus. Though she was humble, she was known for her pranks that brought much laughter to all who knew her. Kay (mom) had the heart of an angel and that is why the Lord will have a special place for her to rest.
She is survived by her three sons: Todd (Doreen), Scott (Tracy), and Dean Mitchell; grandson, Matthew; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; son, Gary; siblings: Leo (Junior) and Florence (Pat) Brezezinski, Adrian and Louise Brezezinski, Dick and Theodosia Allen; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life for Camille on August 3 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., held at Gallagher's Pizza on Lineville.
P.S.--Can not forget, Camille loved to watch the Packers and was the biggest Brewers fan. The family would like to also thank the staff at St. Vincent Hospital, especially 9th floor for their wonderful care.
