Carol Brunette

Carol Brunette passed from this Earth March 19, 2025 at 85 years old. She was fiercely independent and also the best company you could ask for. She was always making lasting impressions on everyone she met. It seemed like everywhere she went she ran into someone she knew. She will be forever loved and missed.

Carol was born July 31, 1939 in Suamico, WI to Fred & Margaret Olson. Carol was very fond of her childhood days growing up near the Suamico river with her parents and siblings. Later in life Carol enjoyed her frequent trips to Las Vegas with friends. She also participated in many dart leagues where she won countless trophies.

Carol was an extremely hard worker and animal lover. She loved raising pigs on her small homestead and caring for her other various pets. Some of her most loved included her dogs Sparky and Max and her cat Teddy. Later in life she went on to work at a few different convenience stores, her favorite was Kurts. She also loved gardening, she always packed her two large gardens full of fresh veggies to share with friends and family. She was a very dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Carol is survived by her son David Brunette, her grandkids Kristen DelMarcelle & Tyler Chambers, her great-grandson Liam Diederich, her sister Elsie Long, her sister in-law Barbara Olson, niece Mary Lee Grimmett, as well as other nieces and nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her son Ricky Brunette, her brothers and sisters, Esther (Dolly) Nowaczyk, Raymond Olson, Donald Olson, Agnes (Sis) DeLaney, Robert Olson, William Olson, Norbert (Bud) Olson, and Leona Grimmett.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mary Lee Grimmett and Peggy Peters who took great care of Carol in her final months and kept her spirits high. The family would also like to thank all of the hospital and hospice workers who cared for Carol, especially Maria, Emily, and Trish.

There will be no funeral service.
