Carrie Anderson

Carrie Anderson, age 68 of Oconto Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024 at home with her family. Carrie was born in Oconto Falls on June 10, 1956 to the late Bernice and William Wall.

She attended school in Gillett and married Joseph Anderson, 49 years ago on September, 28, 1974 at the Tabor United Methodist Church in Gillett. Carrie was a loving wife, mom, sister, aunt, and grandma. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing in the yard with her beautiful flowers and plants, sitting by the fire and sharing her wonderful smile. 

Carrie is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Joseph and their 3 children; Mike (Janelle), Michele (Mike Woodworth) and Lisa; 4 grandchildren, Zack Anderson, Sam Birr, Austin Anderson and Ben Anderson; 4 siblings, Patti (Ed) Gallas, Becky (Larry Hazen) Wall, Jim (Mary) Wall, Bob (Dawn) Wall; their spoiled dog, Tucker; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice (Ball) and William; in-laws, Caroline and Cyril Anderson; and her little brother, Davey Wall in 2020. 

Per her wishes, no services will be held. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. 

The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Heartland Hospice, nurse Traci, for all her love and compassion. Carrie was always “the boss” when it came to her care.
