Catherine Denny

Catherine "Cathy" Denny, 60, of Lena, passed away August 19, 2024, after a battle with lung cancer. Born June 30, 1964, she is the daughter of Judith Surma and the late Richard Tenor. She was a graduate of Bay Port High School Class of 1982. Cathy loved her job at Cruiser Yachts and she was there for twenty five years. She loved to go to the casino, puzzles, diamond art crafting, and working outside with her flowers. The most important thing in Cathy's life were her children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by her children, Terry (Danna Kiesling) Denny III, DeCarlo Denny; three grandchildren, Austin, JoLee, and Culture; three siblings, Joan (Donald) Stordeur, Theresa (Bill) Gerth, and Paul Tenor; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; long time friend, Jackie Pecha. 

Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Richard Tenor; siblings, Ronald Tenor, Judy Surma, and Steven Tenor.

Celebration of Life will be held at Rock Garden, 1951 Bond St. September 7, from 11 AM until 2 PM.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
