Cathy Gill

Cathy Lynn Gill passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by family, after a valiant battle with cancer on 11/12/20.

Cathy was born in Green Bay, WI on April 28, 1958 and adopted by Louella (Clark) Gill and Larry Gill, along with her two biological sisters Judy (Allen) Bero and Laurie ("Gator") Hicks. Through this adoption Cathy, Laurie, and Judy gained two more siblings, Larry (Debbie) Gill Jr. and Tammie (Steve) Luedeman.

Cathy was a loving, devoted, and dedicated mother to four children, Mike (JaimeRose) Kusch, Sarah Kusch (Aaron Emmerton), Tyree Green Jr., and Rachael Green.

Aside from being a mother, Cathy spent most of her career in the hospitality industry until she had the privilege of being a full time grandmother. Cathy was absolutely enamored by her three grandchildren, Mitchell Kaquatosh, Willow Emmerton, and Myray'lon Reed.

It would be wrong to say that Cathy lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Cathy stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Cathy. Even in her last days she managed to muster up the strength to create a "Chili dance" with her grandchildren.

Cathy will forever be loved and missed by her four children, three grandchildren, and all the hearts she was able to touch in her 62 years.
