Charles Peter Laundre (Chuck), age 63, of Green Bay, passed away after a battle with lung cancer on Wednesday, November 27th. He was born November 20, 1961, to the now late Richard and Carol (Radej) Laundre.
He had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially his dog, Mayla and cats, Little Girl, Lightening and Junior. He enjoyed hiking and being in the woods.
He was fond of all his nieces and nephews. But he held his nieces; Brianna and Madison, and his nephew Nick's children; Jayden, Chloe and Carson, especially close to his heart. They were like the children he never had.
Chuck is survived by his siblings; Bob Landry (Jean), Larry and Tammy Laundre, John Laundre, Amy and Hudson Lane, Theresa Stahl, Tom and Trish Laundre, and Lisa Verhaagh. Nieces and nephews; Troy, Tina, Clark, Chris, Melissa, Ashleigh, Shannon, Mick, Bill, Grace, Thomas and Sage. Twenty two great nieces and nephews. Also survived by 8 step siblings, and many cousins.
Preceded in death besides his parents and step mother Arletta Laundre, were maternal grandparents; John (Slim) and Emma Radej, Paternal grandparents; Peter and Mary Laundre. Siblings Mary Laundre and Bill Laundre and nephew; Nicholas Verhaagh. Along with all his aunts and uncles, and his beloved dog Dharma.
Per Chuck's wishes, there will be no formal funeral. A memorial will be held at a future date.
Thank you to Dr. Gautam for his great care, as well as all the care givers at Vince Lombardi Cancer Center. The nurses in ICU Aurora, were caring and supportive up until the end.
And lastly, but most important, thank you to our sister Lisa, who looked after him, especially through out his illness.
