Cherryl Le Blanc, 67, of Green Bay, WI passed peacefully in her sleep, at home surrounded by her family on September 5, 2024 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Cherryl was a stubborn, strong-willed person who never gave up. Her love for her family was displayed through the strength and courage Cherryl showed throughout her fight.
Cherryl was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on January 31, 1957, to parents David and Sally (Dupont) Roskowski.
Cherryl worked at various assisted living facilities throughout the years and enjoyed her time there cooking and helping the elderly and disabled. Cherryl's children and grandchildren meant the world to her and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Being a Grandma was one of Cherryl’s greatest gifts in life. Cherryl loved planting flowers and watching things grow. She loved taking pictures of all of her plants and flowers and showing them off. She also loved taking pictures of all of her grandchildren and special pets, Lily, Luna and Karma. Cherryl loved being outdoors in the warmth especially near the water and beach. She loved the morning sunrises and the evening sunsets. She enjoyed sitting out on her patio, soaking in the sun and bird watching. She loved music and dancing. She enjoyed looking at and sharing recipes on Facebook and loved to watch cooking shows. Cherryl had an amazing sense of humor and an infectious, memorable laugh. Cherryl was very thoughtful and always put her family first. She will deeply missed by all of those who loved her. We will forever cherish our memories of her in our hearts.
Cherryl is survived by her soulmate, Chris; her daughter Sara Johnson (Jeff); her son Ryan Laughlin (Geri), and Chris' children Cassie Conard (Kyle) and Colton Skaleski (Natalia). Cherryl had 11 amazing grandchildren, Madelyn, Aubrey, Jaxson, Kinley, Blake, Logan, Haley, Hannah, Emilia, Naomi, and Freya. Cherryl is further survived by her sisters Kathy (Bob), Julie, Linda, and brother Danny (Mary), ex-husband and friend, Steve, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents David and Sally, brother David, sister-in-law Lou Anne, and brother-in-law Dan.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Bellin Hospital and Cancer Team for their excellent care and compassion throughout these past years. We would also like to thank Unity Hospice for helping Cherryl in her final days. Cherryl was very appreciative of all of the help from her family these past several months, especially from Chris who she called "her everything" and who helped her with her every need right through her final moments.
In lieu of flowers donations are welcome to help the family plan a Celebration of Life at a later date. Venmo @Sara-Johnson22380 or contact Simply Cremation 920-431-0100 for more information.
