Chester “Chet” Hansen, 80, Appleton, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015, at home. He was born to the late Arthur and Arvela (Guyette) Hansen, October 15, 1934 in Clintonville. Chet moved to Appleton in 1954, where he was employed with Zwicker Knitting Mill and later, Miller Electric Mfg. He retired after 35 years of faithful service. Chet married the former Delores Brusewitz on June 29, 1957, in Bonduel. Chet enjoyed many things-he loved to take trips and getting together with family and friends. His greatest joy was reading the Bible. Chet had a great love for his creator, Jehovah God, and placed his trust in His promise to eliminate sorrow, sickness and death as promised in Revelation 21:4.
Chet is survived by the love of his life, Delores, of 57 years; one daughter, Jodie (Hansen) Zitske (friend Jeremy Launderville); two grandchildren, Trevor Hansen (friend, Krista) and Kylie Zitske; great-grandson, Brantley; two sisters, Betty (Marlin) Hull and Delores (Edward) Malueg; one brother, Donald (Faye) Hansen; two brothers-in-law, Allen Erickson and Vincent Wagner; two sisters-in-law, Judy Hansen and Barbara Hove; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis Erickson; brother, Raymond Hansen; and sister-in-law, Karen Wagner.
Visitation at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 1209 W. Winneconne Ave. Neenah, 1pm on Sat., March 21, 2015, until the time of the memorial service at 3pm. Visit
