Colleen Annetta Veldman, 59, Appleton, died February 8, 2022 at a local nursing home. She was born September 9, 1962 in Marshfield, daughter to Hal and Phyllis Veldman. The family moved to Appleton around 1964. Colleen graduated from Wisconsin Academy in Columbus, WI, in 1981. She took Childcare classes at Fox Valley Technical College and began her career in daycare at KinderCare in Appleton. She moved with her parents to the Township of Oneida in 1992. She then worked at the Oneida Nation Childcare Center for a number of years. She also sold Avon for about 25 years to family and coworkers. She enjoyed crocheting and baking. She was a member of the Green Bay Seventh-Day Adventist church. Colleen enjoyed sharing her faith in God.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Veldman; sister, Sandra (Toby) Paulsen; brother, Jeffrey (Carrie) Veldman; two nieces: LeeAnn (Josh) McCoy and Michelle (Michael) Webberley; two great nephews; one uncle; three aunts; and cousins.
Colleen was preceded in death by her father, Hal Veldman.
