In the early morning hours of April 22, 2023 Cris Taylor, 72, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully with her cherished daughter holding her hand and her four-legged buddy, Lincoln, by her side.
Cris was a creative, fun-loving, caring soul who loved her family with all of her heart, especially her daughter and her grandsons, "the boys."
Cris was an avid and accomplished quilter and spent many years as part of the Evergreen and Hearts & Friends Quilt Guilds among other crafting and sewing groups. Cris loved creating gifts for her friends and family as well as sharing her love of sewing with the children in her life. She left the gift of her quilts to those she loved, keeping them forever wrapped in her warm embrace.
Cris' true joy was being a Nana. Not a day would go by without her asking what "the boys" were up to. She cheered them on in everything they did, but her favorite thing was to tell them to make her a bucket in basketball. We take great comfort in knowing that "the boys" have a very special angel watching over them now.
Cris is survived by her daughter; Sarah (Dwight) Weber; her grandsons, Greyson & Owen Fezatte; two brothers, Mark Denessen and Kelly (Shelly) Denessen; her sister, Lori (Tom) Zimmerman; her former spouse, Todd Taylor; father, Richard Denessen; Aunt, Dotty Ostrenga; as well as nieces, nephews and special friends.
Cris was preceded in death by her mother, Florence (Ostrenga) Denessen and her brother, Scott Denessen.
As was Cris' wish, there will be no funeral services, rather her daughter and "the boys" will privately celebrate her life in a way that she would love.
