Crystal Gail Marohl

April 17, 1999 — May 13, 2017

Born April 17,1999 to Connie (Cudnohosky) Schuettpelz and Ronald Marohl, Crystal had just celebrated her 18th birthday. She was 2 weeks away from her graduation from Gillett High School. She was very excited about her plans to attend college at River Falls where she sought a degree in Agricultural Science. But May 13, 2017, sadly we lost her along with her mother, Connie, in a terrible accident.

Crystal recently enjoyed a trip to Costa Rica with her Spanish Club. She was active in sports, mostly volleyball, chorus and very active in band, where she learned to play several instruments. She loved to hunt with her father, Ronald, and was proud to display at least one beautiful buck. She loved the outdoors and really wanted to farm in one fashion or another. While she dreamed of getting her college degree, she was, in a way, already living out her dream with sort of a hobby farm. She and her sister Myriah had some chickens and ducks and quite a few varieties of rabbits. Some of her animals were to be shown at the county fair, but she loved going to Pet Swaps and was able to procure more varieties by exchanging some of the stock she raised, sometimes for supplies, but usually for someone else's pride and joy. Her smart phone was always filled with pictures of her own pride and joy, usually bunnies.
In an homage to her late grandma Dorothy's love of robins as the harbinger of Spring, Crystal recently got a tattoo. "Fly Free Like a Robin". So we wish you, too Crystal to "Fly Free", but let's make that an eagle.
Crystal is immediately survived by her father, Ronald Marohl, her sister Myriah Marohl, nieces and a nephew. She is further survived by Ronald's children, Cory Marohl (special friend Heather) of Appleton, Adam Marohl (special friend Jenny) of Shawano and Sara (Ben) Miller of Black Earth, WI.

She will be deeply missed by her aunt Cheryl Mandeville and Allen (Uncle Alleycat) of Green Bay. Also, uncle Alvin Cudnohosky and Donna of Klondike and their daughter, Emily Cudnohosky. Alvin's daughter, Pamala (Robert) Bleecker of Poysippi, WI and son, Aric Cudnohosky of Des Moines, IA and their children. Also Donna's daughter Tara (Jeremy) Van Ark and their children and Donna's son Brandon Kempke. She is survived by her great aunt Gloria Kilmer and many second cousins in the family of Gloria and the late great aunt and uncle Roy and Mary Kempky family.

Crystal has many aunts and uncles on her father's side. They are Steve (Charlie) and Barb Marohl, Bobby and Sherri Marohl, Stanley and Janet Marohl, Jimmy and Jane Marohl, David and Corby Marohl, Ed and Julie Marohl, Janice and Don Herm, Susie and Jay Williams, Paula Marohl and Bill and Jeanie Marohl. She also survived by a great many cousins.

Crystal lost her life simultaneously with her mother Connie Schuettpelz. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy and Dorothy Cudnohosky and Adolph and Joyce Marohl . Also preceding her were great aunt and uncle Roy and Mary Kempky and a very, very special great aunt Elaine (Tootie) Falk.
