Daniel R. Gransalke

Daniel R. Gransalke, 76, Denmark, passed away peacefully at home Saturday evening, Oct. 15, 2016, surrounded by his family. Born July 5, 1940, in Fargo, ND, he is the son of the late Daniel F. and Ann (Nylan) Gransalke. Dan is a graduate of Phillips, WI High School, Class of ‘58. He worked for 31 years for the Chicago Northwestern-Union Pacific Railroad as a Mechanic in Charge, retiring in July of 2001. Dan will be remembered as the “go-to” person who could repair just about anything and was also an avid gardener.

Dan is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue; three children, Matthew (Pam), Tawny (Andy) and Mark (Julie); five grandchildren, Daniel, Andrew “A.J.”, Carson, Logan and Sadie; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and many dear friends.

A private family gathering will be held in the future. Simply Cremation, Green Bay, is serving the family.
