Darlene “Dar” Florence Preman of Pulaski, WI passed away on May 24, 2021 after battling cancer for the last 2 years.
Darlene was born in August of 1949 in Medford, WI to Oren and Frieda Bishop. She attended Holy Rosary School. She married Patrick Preman on August 26, 2003 in Suring, WI where they resided until 2020. Darlene worked for Oconto County Human Services as a Home Visitor for 18 years. She previously owned Dar’s Bar in Krakow, WI, prior to that was a caregiver at various health care organizations.
Darlene was an active member of Suring United Methodist Church. She spent many hours dedicating her time to the church closet for those in need, and organized Christmas drives for local families. She enjoyed gardening, baking many special cakes for family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Darlene was preceded in death by her son Kelly A. Kalmon, her parents and brothers, Edward Bishop, Aaron Bishop and Wayne Domine.
Darlene is survived by her husband Patrick Preman, Pulaski; daughters Sandra Creech (Robert), De Pere; Sheila Mannisto (Daniel), De Pere; Michelle Hoskins, Gillett; Hiedi Van Camp (Jeremy), De Pere; and Allison Davis, Thousand Oaks, CA. Stepdaughter Rebecca Baumia (David), Luxemburg. 16 grandchildren, Harley Kalmon, Cameron Kalmon, Alexandra Kalmon, Scott Kalmon, Travis Creech, Justin Mannisto, Jaci Mannisto, Hayley Ahlswede, Montana Ahlswede, Hunter Ahlswede, David Ahlswede Jr., Weston Hoskins, Jordan Van Camp, Chase Van Camp, Eli Baumia, and Aubry Baumia and 7 great grandchildren. Sisters Carol Cedarholm, Medford; Charlene Faude (Gerald), Medford. Brother’s Daniel Domine, Plymouth; Larry (Julie) Johnson, Medford. Numerous nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Suring United Methodist Church, 404 E. Main St., Suring WI 54174. Services will take place on Friday, June 4, 2021 visitation from 4:00-5:00 pm service at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers per Darlene’s wishes, donations can be made to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation at lombardifoundation.org.
