Darlene Kealiher

 Darlene M Kealiher, 88, of Stevens Point, WI passed away peacefully on May 12 2024 of natural causes. Darlene was born March, 9th 1936 in Independence IA to the late Morris and Zoe Vande Voorde (Slater) . She graduated from Stanley high school in 1954. She later moved to Wisconsin where she met Eugene in a little restaurant in Amherst. She married Eugene on October 13th, 1958 in Valparaiso, Indiana. They settled in Amherst where she worked for Red Owl for over 20 years. In 1984 her and her family moved to Oklahoma City where she worked for The Bunte Candy Company. They moved back to Iola, WI in 1998 where she worked at Grayhill for many years before retiring in 2010. She moved to Stockton in 2002. She enjoyed spending time with family and cooking. She was always trying out new recipes at family get togethers.

Survivors include her youngest Son Joseph (Carol) Kealiher of Abrams; Grandchildren, Bradly (Katie) Kealiher, Jennifer Kealiher, Heather Kealiher and James Kealiher; Great Grandchildren, Dakota(Makayla), Hunter, Thomas, Levi, Cole and Alexis; Great Great Grandchildren, Kinsley and Ryleigh

She is further survived by her siblings, Linda Lau (Darryl), Mary (Kenny) Arnold, Kenneth (Jeanette) VandeVoorde, James VandeVoorde, Frank VandeVoorde, Greg VandeVoorde

She is preceded in death by her eldest son Douglas Kealiher and Husband Eugene Kealiher; sister Charlene Merkel (Bill), Sister Joyce Odekirk(MJ), Sister Connie McDaniel, brother Warren VandeVoorde
