Darryl McMahon

Darryl D. McMahon passed away on July 14th, 2024 at age 68. Darryl was born to the late Russell and Margaret (Suring) McMahon

Darryl David and Karla Marie married at age 23 on May 12, 1979 in Green Bay WI. Their bond together only got stronger over the years.

Finding their home in Kewaunee WI, Darryl accepted a job as equipment operator in 1980 at Wisconsin Public Service which would set the course for success. His first degree was in the same year with an Associates in Electronics at Fox Valley Tech. Later on in his field of nuclear science and engineering he received his Bachelors degree from The University of Maryland in 2000. Though the company switched multiple hands, Darryl retired at the same plant he started at in 2017.

Darryl enjoyed fishing and camping and would have an annual trip near where he was born at Chute Pond Campground. Darryl enjoyed many road trips with his wife and kids through the years and would continue through retirement always looking for the next best treasure.

Survivors include his children Haley (Dan) Derrig, Colin (Sara) McMahon, Morgan McMahon(Arezki Bouchik) and his grandchildren Jack, Belle, Cayden and Isla.

He is also survived by his two sisters and brothers-in-law: Leann (Don) Buboltz, Lonna (Jim) Einburger; and two brothers and three sisters-in-law Neil (Barb) McMahon, Glenn (Peggy) McMahon, Vicki McMahon. He is survived also by nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his older brother Kevin and his wife Karla.

Family and friends will be gathering for a celebration of his life in August.
