Dawn Pieschek, 60, Green Bay, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, December 12, 2020, at home with her family by her side. Born on September 13, 1960, she is the daughter of Allen Schmahl and the late Gloria Schmahl. She graduated from Denmark High School class of '78. Dawn was employed for over 20 years in the flooring business and was employed with Maccos the last 11 years. She drove to Marinette everyday and loved her job and the people she worked with. Dawn's work family meant a lot to her. Dawn loved to travel and her favorite vacations to Hawaii allowed her to capture the Aloha Spirit. Sedona, AZ was her magical place and brought out her inner faith and deep connection to God. Dawn's pride and joy were her grandchildren. She lit up when she was with them and loved sharing her passion of baking with them. There was not a person that Dawn did not like. She had a smile for everyone and enjoyed life to her fullest.
She is survived by her partner in life, Keith Karnopp; three children, Preston (Ashley) Pieschek, Lawton (Breanne) Pieschek, Alayna and significant other Diallo; father, Allen and his special friend, Lillian; five grandchildren, Gage, Bennett, Emersyn and one on the way, Dominic and Dawson; brother, Larry (Sandy) Schmahl; niece and nephew, Sheena and Darren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria; faithful companion, Tilly.
A private family viewing will be held for the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
