Deborah “Debbie” Ahrens, 62, Wausaukee, passed away March 10, 2016, at a Green Bay Hospital following a battle with leukemia. She was born July 9, 1953, in Menomonee Falls, WI. Debbie married Steven Ahrens in Marinette on June 27, 1980. She retired from the US Postal Service after 20 years of faithful service. Debbie will be remembered for her enjoyment of reading, spending time with her Labs, Gus and Grizz, and being with her extended family.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steve; three sisters, Sue Sticka of Middle Inlet, Kitty (Derick) Paider of Crivitz, and Kathy Aho of Milwaukee; brother-in-law and dear friend, “Flash”; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol (Andy) Churka.
Visitation at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church, 716 Henriette Ave, Crivitz, Tuesday, March 15th from 1:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 2:30 PM. Simply Cremation, Green Bay, (920) 431-0100 is serving the family.
