Dennis M. Themer, Wellhaven, passed away Thursday February 3rd,2022 at St Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Dennis was born September 20th, 1958, to the late Mary (Lasecki) and Martin Themer. Dennis graduated from Bonduel High School in 1976. He was the fastest typist that Ms. Harker had ever seen at 105 words per minute. After high school he enrolled in Gateway Tech where he studied court & conference reporting. He graduated from Gateway Tech in 1978 and pursued a career in court reporting.
Dennis worked in Milwaukee as a court reporter. He then moved to Houston where he followed Beverly Dombrowski, following the other Dombrowski's. There he worked as a court reporter. When the bottom fell out of the oil market which caused a collapse in the Texan market, he returned to Bonduel. He worked many years at the Green Bay Press Gazette.
Dennis loved working out in the yard tenderly caring for his fruit trees. He loved cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and really any Wisconsin sports team. He had a passion for the stock car races. He could be found many Saturday nights at the Shawano Speedway cheering on his good friend Trent Nolan. Dennis never met a fish fry he didn’t like. You could find him many Friday nights out enjoying fish and the company of his many friends. If you saw him, he would be quick to share a smile, his quick wit, stories from long ago and his opinion. He loved to bake cookies, pies, cakes and much more then share them with his loved ones.
Dennis never missed Polka Days in Pulaski where he loved to dance and spend time with his good friend Gail Dombrowski Blohowiak and many others.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Friends may visit at St Stanislaus Catholic Church, W1888 Hofa Park Road, Seymour, Saturday February 12, from 10am until the time of the service.
