Diane Cory Grunwaldt, of Green Bay, Wisconsin was born January 5, 1939 in Quincy, Illinois and passed away February 16, 2017. She was the second of three children born to Paul E. and Mary Louise Cory. She attended Quincy College where she was inducted into Delta Sigma Epsilon National Honor Society. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University. While in college, she married Dr. David C. Grunwaldt from Black Creek, Wisconsin and together they raised four children.
She was an involved member of the communities where she lived. For decades she was an active member of Kings Daughters of Appleton. Diane was the telethon chairperson for Rawhide Boys Home in New London. Also, she enjoyed leading all of her daughter’s Girls Scout troops. After moving to Green Bay, she was served on the Friends of the Brown County Library Board, volunteered at the Ecumenical Partnership for Housing, and also for the rape crisis center for Family Services of Northeastern Wisconsin.
