Diane M. Hewitt, 60, Luxemburg, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at a Green Bay hospital. Born June 2, 1959, in Marinette, she is the daughter of Karen (Walters) Johnston and the late Donald Johnston. Diane married Joseph Hewitt on May 15, 1993. The couple had volunteered for many years as both Boy Scout and Cub Scout leaders in Luxemburg. Diane will be remembered as an avid reader of suspense and murder mystery books, she enjoyed crocheting, collecting owls, and cheering on the Packers. More than anything else, Diane loved her family, especially her new baby granddaughter.
Diane is survived by her husband of 26 years, Joseph; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Erica Hewitt and her granddaughter, Delilah, and Donald Hewitt; mother, Karen Johnston; grandmother, Barbara Johnston; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Linda Johnston, Jim and Diane Johnston, Daniel and Cindy Johnston, David Veeser, Earl and Linda Hewitt, Scott Hewitt and Tony Marking. She is also survived by her nephews, Jacob Johnston, Kyle Johnston, Matthew Johnston, Andrew Johnston, Adam Veeser-Johnston, Edward Nichols, and Kevin Hewitt; and nieces, Kasey Johnston, Amber Caylor, Tina Nichols, Rebecca Hewitt, and Caitlin Hewitt; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Johnston; brother, Bradley Johnston; grandfather, Edward Johnston; sister-in-law, Renee Hewitt; and brother-in-law, Michael Hewitt.
Visitation at Sepia Chapel, 3562 Finger Rd, Green Bay, WI, on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019, from 2:00-4:00pm.
