Diane DeWitt Hudson died at home, Sunday, January 5, 2025. Born March 10, 1932 to Allan and Mildred (Zeinemann) DeWitt in Sheboygan.
She graduated from Central High School in 1950. She married Marlin Hudson on October 6, 1951. They had six children they loved and enjoyed. Her hobbies were reading, word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, playing bridge and other card games, quilting, and watching birds.
She held numerous part time jobs while raising the family on a small farm.She drove school bus for Heidenreiter Bus, and later became assistant librarian at Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library retiring in 1994.
Diane loved to travel with Marlin to all fifty states and Europe where the visited AFS students and toured historical sites.
Diane is survived by children Dirk (Tami) Hudson, Mark (Linda Tolman) Hudson, Amy Clemens, Lisa (Dave) Bunke, Sara (Mark) Watkins, Eric (Carmon) Hudson, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 AFS sons, Toon VanZundert of the Netherlands, Nikki Anda of Germany, sister Mary (Jerry) Schlegel and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin (2015), her parents, her son-in-law, Michael Clemens, grandson Gage Hudson, sister Janet (Bill) Scholz, brother Peter (Catherine) DeWitt, sister-in-law Delores Dunn, and friend, Jamie Tolman.
Celebration of life will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1429 North 5th Street, Sheboygan on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 1:30 pm with visitation from noon until the memorial service lead by Pastor Cyndy Little.
