Dolores A Minor

October 6, 1925 — November 21, 2021

Our dear Mom, Dolores A. Minor, 96, passed away in her sleep at Tender Hearts Assisted Living on November 21st, 2021. She was born on October 6th, 1925 in Green Bay, WI to Paul and Claire (Chappelle) Gegere. She attended West High School where she met Al Minor and they were married on June 7th, 1944. They were together for 69 years until he passed away on July 30th, 2013. Together they had three daughters, Judy, Joyce, and Nancy.

She was a devoted wife, Mom, and Grandma. Her family was her life and a visit to Grandma's was always special. Dolores and Al put on many miles traveling to Minnesota, Indiana, and Suamico, WI to spend time with their girls and grandkids. Mom was a great shopper and if she wasn't home, she could be found at the malls. Always a birthday, holiday or Dad to shop for. She could also be found once a week for 40 plus years at Style & Smile, where Barb would keep her hair looking good. More than getting her hair done, was the visiting with her special friend. Thanks Barb! Mom loved old movies and big band music was often heard coming from her room.

Mom is survived by her daughters, Judy McGuire, Joyce Cieluch and Nancy (Michael) Kappas; six grandchildren and their spouses, Ron (Amy) McGuire, Jenny (Tim) Patterson, Tom (Jeri Anne) Cieluch, Kailey Cieluch, Mark (Danielle) Van Gemert, Nicole Ferlazzo (fiance Austin); nine great grandchildren, Kristen and Mason Patterson, Jacy, Teegan and Jannsen Cieluch, Layla and Grace Lynn, Ethan and Elise Van Gemert; two brothers-in-law, Jim (June) Minor and Bob (Janice) Minor; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Al; parents; baby daughter, Joan Mary; grandson, Tim Cieluch; son-in-law, Tom McGuire; two brothers, George (Lydia) Gegere and Robert (Wilma) Gegere.

A special thank you to everyone at Tender Hearts for taking wonderful care of mom for seven years. Everyone loved Gma Dee and she was known to give great back rubs. Always sweet and kind. Thank you to Dr. Bollom who kept her going and nurse Danielle who took the best care of mom at Tender Hearts and then Prevea. Thanks to Heartland Hospice nurses who kept Mom comfortable to the end, you are special angels. And thanks to our dear friend Michelle, at Simply Cremation, for your love and guidance. You always make things easier.

A family gathering will take place at a later date.

So Mom, thanks for the memories, you will always be with us. Till we meet again. Love you!
