Donald Shuckhart, “Don the Drifter”, died peacefully at home after a lengthy illness. On December 1, 2018, the angels came to “Show Don the Way to Heaven” where he can forever entertain family and friends who have gone before with his wonderful personality and music.
After retirement, Don spent his winters in Florida entertaining the snowbirds. Born October 31, 1938 in Bradley, WI to the late Harold and Cora Shuckhart. He attended school in Merrill, WI. He operated the Corner Bar in Kaukauna in the 1960’s and The Country Inn in rural De Pere in the late 1980’s.
He married Joan Arnoldi Tordeur in 1987. He is survived by his wife Joan; son’s: Allen (Linda) Jahnke, Fred (Tory) Jahnke, Donald A. (Erica) Shuckhart; daughters: May (Randy) Fuss and Michelle Jahnke; stepchildren: Sherry (Ron) Linzmeier, Sue (Ron) Terry, Roland (Kerry) Tordeur and Sandi (Lynn) Van Handel; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Further survived by his sisters Edith, Leola, Janitta, Mary, Agatha and Peggy.
