Donald E. Trepanier

February 2, 1956 — February 23, 2023

Donald E. Trepanier 67, Oconto, passed away at home on Thursday February 23rd, 2023. Don was born
February 2nd, 1956 in Oconto to the late Florence Dale and Eugene Trepanier.

In his younger years, Don laid water-main in the Milwaukee area. Don’s dad Gene was his foreman,
which meant Don was not given any slack. Instead Gene was extra tough on him, but this made him into
the strong person that he was. Any project his Dad would throw at him he was able to figure out. He was
truly a man of all trades. He could do anything, and was never afraid to tackle a big project. Don then
moved to Oconto and started his own roofing company called TNT construction which he ran
successfully for 20 years. Don was active in golf, trap shooting, and bowling alongside of his dad.

Don had four daughters who he shared his love of the outdoors with. Everything from his love of
hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, catching any random animal he could find to show the girls, and
raising chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese. These values are instilled in each of his girls which had always
made him very proud. Don would pass up any deer just to see his girls have a chance at it and see the
joy that it brought them. Don enjoyed spending many days out at “the land” tinkering in his pole barn
and keeping the land and cabin looking its best. He looked forward to spending nights there during
hunting season or any occasion just to get away and be with his family.

Don is survived by his wife of 26 years Leanne, daughters, Tara, Tracy (Travis), Amber (Will), and Emma
(Travis). Grandchildren Ashley, Avery, Maddox, and great granddaughter Aaliyah. Sisters Kathy (Dean)
Barrett, Joanne (Al) Normann, and Sue Trepanier. In-laws Mary and Larry Zipp, John (Amy) Zipp, Jill
(Doug) Avoles, and Pam Zipp.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, mother Florence Dale, father Gene Trepanier, brother William
(Bill) Trepanier and wife MaryAnn.

To honor Don’s wishes there will be no funeral service. The family invites you to please privately
celebrate Don in your own way. In the spring, his immediate family will gather and plant some fruit trees
in his honor, at his favorite place, “the land” and they will cheers with a shot of whiskey.
