Donna M. Bolssen

Donna M. Bolssen, 71, found peace while at home with her husband at her side Friday morning, Nov. 11, 2016. Born May 1, 1945, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Peter and Velva (Kleinschmidt) VanDoorn. Donna married William Bolssen on July 31, 1993, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished time with her family. Donna also enjoyed hunting with her family, gardening, cross-stitching and her precious dogs, Belle and Zoe. Donna is survived by her husband, William; children, Daniel Jr. (Tina) Schmidt, Laure Ayotte (Eric Hill), Frederick (Jenny) Schmidt, Paul Schmidt (Mary Hersig), Brenda (Patrick) Dobyns, Stephen Bolssen, Kevin Bolssen, Char Fransen; 24 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mary Kay Sosnowski, Wayne (Lynn) VanDoorn, Peggy (Byron) Heckenliable, Cynthia (John) Tank; mother-in-law, Charlotte; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
