Donna J. Marquardt

Donna J. Marquardt went to meet her Lord and Savior on Oct. 30th. Donna was born on March 21,1929, in Suring to Alfred and Evelyn Gust. On February 24,1947, she married Lawrence Marquardt and they made their home in Oconto Falls before moving to Lena where they took up farming. Donna was a stay at home mom and spent her days caring for her family and doing the many chores required of a farm woman. Later, she went to work at the True Value hardware store in Oconto Falls where she became known as “ The Paint Lady”. She could answer any paint related question you had. Donna was happiest when playing “literally” endless games of Yahtzee, Farkle and cards with her family and all who knew her as “Grandma Marquardt”.

Donna is survived by six children. Paul (Lois) Marquardt, Anita Marquardt, Dennis Marquardt, Cathy (Andy) Rauwald, Susan Morris and Ruth (Josh) Long. Donna is further survived by her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 301 S. Chestnut Ave., Oconto Falls, WI, on Saturday, Nov. 5th, from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial Service 12 Noon at the church.
