Elsie Mae (Renard) Herman, 86, Green Bay, passed away peacefully, July 4, 2017, at home with family at her side. Born Nov. 22, 1930, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Wilton and Ruth (Manders) Renard. Elsie married Warren Herman on May 13, 1950, in Green Bay. He preceded her death on September 15, 2004. After raising her family, she worked seasonally at Larsen Canning Company, Prange Way Distribution, and in her later years at Festival Foods as a sample distributor. Elsie was a long-time, faithful member of First Presbyterian Church. She loved her daily phone calls with her sisters, TV game shows, spending time with family, and butterscotch candy.
Elsie is survived by six sons and one daughter, Jim of Green Bay, Jerry (Luanne) of Wausaukee, Jeff (Susie), Judy (Bob) Schaetz, Joe (Debbie), Bob, and Doug (Christy), all of Green Bay; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth King and JoAnne Herman; two brothers, Wilton, Jr. (Claudette) Renard and Gary (Mary Ann) Renard; sister-in-law, Helen Herwald; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren; grandson, Henry Joel; and three brothers-in-law, Lloyd Herman, Harold King, and Rudy Herwald.
Visitation will be at First Presbyterian Church, 200 S. Ashland Ave., Green Bay, WI, Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 1:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 3:00pm with Reverend Dr. Randy Argall officiating. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
