Fern Elizabeth Boeshart

Fern Elizabeth Boeshart went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept 24, 2020. She was born on April 21, 1930, to John and Mary (Lake) Hiles in Mt. Vernon, OH. Fern married Floyd A Daubenmier on Feb 3, 1951. He proceeded her in death on Nov. 21,1971. She married Raymond Boeshart on Oct 10, 1981. He proceeded her in death on July 1, 2015.

Fern is survived by 10 children: Leora Jean (Daubenmier) Dudgeon (Virgil) of Appleton, WI; Floyd Daubenmier Jr. (Paula) of Mt. Vernon, OH; William Daubenmier (son, Jason) of Raleigh, NC; Joseph Daubenmier (Becky) of Lafayette, IN; Bev (Boeshart) Kornack (John) of Zanesville, OH; Dot Waters of Zanesville, OH; Mike Boeshart (Debbie) of Mt. Vernon, OH; Clarence Boeshart (Lore) of Caledonia, MI; Janet Boeshart of Chesapeake Beach, MD; and Thomas Boeshart (Carmen) of Los Altimos, CA. She was preceded in death by 3 children; Charles Boeshart, Judy (Boeshart) Haldeman and Joseph Boeshart; She is survived by 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, (Richard Daubenmier). She is survived by 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her 8 siblings

Fern spent the last 28 years in Avon Park, FL where she felt the most at home enjoying the sun and riding her 3 wheeled bicycle. She spent many years traveling the country in their motor home logging well over 200,000 miles. Fern was lovingly known as “Mimi” by just about everyone. She was famous for her apple pies and steamed apple dumplings. Her children and all of the grandchildren and great and great great grandchildren were sources of great joy to her. Fern was loved by all who met and knew her. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and will be missed greatly.
