Frank R. Berger

Frank R. Berger, 82, Town of Friendship, Van Dyne, passed away peacefully at his home Nov. 11, 2016, after a lengthy illness.He was born in Oshkosh on June 10, 1934, the son of the late Frank and Dorothy (Schubert) Berger. Survivors include his wife, Debra; one daughter, Kathy (Devin) Stelzner; three sons, Frank, Joseph, and Paul (Dana); one stepson, Jay (Kelly) Kargus; 13 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Kris) and Bruce (Patrica); sister-in-law, Nancy Berger; family friend, Delores “Sis” Brooks Ratzburg; and two brother-in-laws, Kevin and Kraig Kargus. Preceding him in death were two sons, Daniel and John; and two brothers, Jack and Steven. A special thanks to Frank’s caregiver, Marlene Wendt; and the doctors and nurses of Affinity / Ascension Health Care. As per Frank’s request, the immediate family will hold a private service.
