Franz Ludwig of Appleton passed away 4/5/22 after a long battle with his health.
Franz was born to the late Victoria (Scheer) Ludwig and Murph Ludwig December 23rd, 1961, in Glen Ellyn Il. He graduated from Wheaton North HS class of 1980.
Franz was a hard worker who took pride in any job he had and always gave 100%. He was an avid sports fan. He was a walking encyclopedia when it came to his Cubs, Bulls and Packers! He will always be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor and his laugh.
He is survived by his brother Erik (Janeen) Ludwig, sisters Lizbeth (Anton) Wingstedt, Sarah Ludwig, Emma (Colin) Harris, Uncle David (Nancy) Scheer, Aunt Claudia Lambert, Stepmother Kathleen Ludwig and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Franz was preceded in death by his Parents.
A celebration of life is scheduled for July 9th, 2022, and the family will share more details in the near future.
