Gail Anderson

On May 17, 2023 Gail Lynn Anderson entered our heavenly Father’s kingdom. Gail was born August 15, 1968 in Calumet, Michigan. At a very young age she moved to Escanaba, Michigan where she spent the rest of her adolescence & early adulthood, graduating from Escanaba High School in 1986. She went on to further her studies at Northern Michigan University to pursue a career as a paralegal.  She moved to Green Bay and attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and received an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2001. During that time, Gail fell in love with Jay Anderson & got married in December of 2000. After graduation, she worked briefly as a paralegal.  Then, in 2004, she fulfilled her biggest dream of becoming a stay-at-home mom. Gail also worked as a caregiver for several years at Home Instead Senior Care & as a receptionist at Oak Park Place Senior Living.

Gail enjoyed the outdoors including camping trips & spending valued time with loved ones. Despite many physical challenges she was a positive-minded person who always tried to see the bright side of life. She was especially fond of children & senior citizens & was an intricate part of making an impact in many people’s lives. Gail was always an avid reader & loved a good board game. She especially loved spending time with friends over a good cup of Chai Tea. 

Gail was preceded in death by her mother Rita Anderson & brother-in-law Daniel Chouinard.  She is survived by husband Jay Anderson, son Lucas Anderson, father Richard Anderson, sisters Brenda Chouinard, Kim (Tim) Carlson, in-laws Jeff (Kathy) Anderson & Jolene (David) Berlin. Gail is also survived by many beloved nephews & nieces, friends, cousins, aunts & uncles. She will always be cherished & remembered fondly. 

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 11:00am at Faith Chapel, 800 High Meadow Ct, Green Bay, WI, 54311.
