Gary Turner, 63, of Crystal Falls passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 with his wife and family by his side. Gary was born in Crystal Falls on December 3, 1952 and was a life long resident of Crystal Falls. On January 26th, 1974 he married the former Michelle Stockero. Gary was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed anything outdoors. He was a sports enthusiast and always cheered on the Chicago Bears and Blackhawks as well as bowling with his team "Rockies Rollers." What Gary enjoyed most was his family and was a great husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle; 2 sons, Patrick(Cheryl) and their children Cayd and Ellie, Michael(Amy) and their children McKenzie, Zack, Hal, and Tommy; 4 brothers, Rick(Diane), Bill(Pam), Brad, Steve(Leslie), sisters-in-law Deb(Ron Lehtikangas) Stockero and Kathy(Paul) Kinville; brother-in-law Joey(Beth) Stockero; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both his and Michelle’s parents.

A farewell party will take place on Sunday, November 6th 2016 any time after noon in the family home; 512 N. 6th St., Crystal Falls. Simply Cremation, Green Bay is caring for the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at both Bellin and Dickinson Memorial hospitals, as well as Dr. Donald Smith and Dr. Gustavo Morrel and his staff for the exceptional care they all gave Gary and the comfort they provided his family.
