Gerald “Jerry” Adrians, 68, Green Bay, found peace late Saturday evening, March 21, 2015, at a local hospital with family at his side. Born Feb. 21, 1947, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Robert “Bud” Adrians and Pearl (Adrians) Blodgett. Jerry is a graduate of Premontre, Class of ’65. He faithfully served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Jerry was the owner and operator of The Cedars Bar for many years. Most recently he was employed with Floors By Us. Jerry volunteered for many years with Paul’s Pantry. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of playing cards, especially Cribbage, and cheering for the Packers. Jerry had a great fondness of fishing but particularly loved the fact that it allowed him time with his children, which he adored more than anything else in the world.
Jerry is survived by his faithful wife, Juanita; three children, Dana Delveaux, Chad (Chrissy) Adrians, and Tiffany (David) Lein; four grandchildren and one on the way; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jan VanDyck and Joyce (Dan) Keyzer; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Bonnie Mangless, and one brother-in-law, Jack VanDyck.
In honoring Jerry’s wishes, a private family service will be held at a future date. Simply Cremation, Green Bay, is assisting the family.
Jerry’s family extends a special thank you to the nursing staff of St. Vincent Hospital, 9th Floor and also to the caring staff of Unity Hospice.
Memorials in Jerry’s honor may be directed to any organization that makes it their mission in assisting wounded veterans.
