Gerald Raymond Gussert

Gerald Raymond Gussert, 85, peacefully passed away on December 2, 2024 in Green Bay at Bellin Memorial Hospital.

He was born on December 3, 1938 to Francis and Grace Gussert of Greenleaf. Gerald graduated from East De Pere high school and MSOE. He proudly served his country in the Marines. He was an ammunition manufacturer/gunsmith at his company, Gussert Enterprises, Inc.

On July 11, 1962 he married the love of his life, Dale Mildred Whitney. They were blessed with 2 sons.

Gerald is survived by his son, Douglas Gussert; siblings Ernest Gussert, Joan (Brian) VandenLangenberg, Jean (Val) Hanson, Greg (Carmen) Gussert, Mark (Donna) Gussert, Suzanne (Mike) Secker; daughter-in-law, Michelle Gussert; special friends Mary, Ann and Dominic and numerous friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dale; son, David Gussert; his parents; brother, Anthony Gussert; sister-in-law, Shirley Gussert and in-laws Hazel and Walter Whitney.

Per Gerald’s wishes there will be no funeral. He will be placed beside his wife, Dale, at Fort Howard Cemetery.
