Gerald (Jerry) Puyleart, 74, of Crivitz, Wisconsin passed away on September 22 2024. Gerald was battling lung cancer and was surrounded by his loved ones in his final days.
If you knew Gerald Puyleart, you'd know that he was a private person who loved the simple way of life, and the simplicity of the north woods until his final breath where he was cared for by his special friend (Colleen) and children (Debbie, Lisa, Anthony) in Green Bay Wisconsin.
Gerald was born on June 6, 1950 to his parents Marie Leona Laurent and Donald Edward Puyleart in Green Bay Wisconsin. He attended St Peter & Paul catholic school.
Gerald did many jobs throughout his life including driving dump trucks, farm hand, worked the rest of his years at James River (Georgia Pacific) for 43 years until he retired at 61 years of age. He also served in the army for 2 years.
He enjoyed fishing, doing outdoor activities, 4 wheeling, splitting firewood, hunting and maintaining his property. And spending time with his children.
Gerald is survived by his children, Debbie Berry, Lisa Weise, and Anthony Weise, his step daughter Denise Clark, his brothers Larry (Linda) Puyleart, Kenny (Carol) Puyleart, Randy (Jane) Puyleart, his sister Donna Puyleart, his 7 grand children, and 10 nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marie , grandparents Ella and Benjamin, his step father Hilbert Mandel his sister Dianne.
The family would like to thank Colleen Weise for providing a close place for him to stay in his final months and caring staff of Unity Hospice.
Services will be held on October 1, 2024 at Malcore West Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason St. Green Bay, Wisconsin 54303, from 1-2 P.M., followed by a military salute.
