Ginger A Woolums age 65 of Green Bay, passed away peacefully at her home Oct 31, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She fought a long and courageous battle against cancer. Ginger was born April 16, 1958 in Sturgeon Bay. She is the daughter of the late Allen & Virgina (Betts) Fortemps
Ginger loved the challenge of being an IT Manger. She felt that the harder problems were the greater accomplishment.
Her love for her family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews were her top priority. Her passion for cooking and trying new recipes shined through her while teaching her kids, grandchildren, nieces and nephews so they could learn to cook and enjoy trying new foods.
If you ever needed an enjoyable book to read, Ginger was the one to go to. She always had a good book in hand. She wanted everyone to live to their fullest potential and never anything less. Her positivity and sense of humor was always something to look forward to when visiting with her.
She is survived by her loving husband Michael Woolums of 36 years, and sons Nicholas, Brenden and Mitchel; Grandchildren Ryan, Zephyr, Talyah and Leona; Brother Allen Fortemps, Sister Polly (Rick) Soukup; and 2 sisters-in-law, Lesa and Kris.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Allen and Virgina Fortemps, brother Paul Fortemps, father and mother in-law Larry and Ellen Woolums and sister in-law Sheri Woolums
