Grace Helen (Painter) Geiken, 95 years old, Adell, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 peacefully in her home with her family by her side. Grace was born on June 16, 1927 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Cletus and Mini (Grooms) Painter.
Grace is survived by her son, Mark Geiken of Adell WI; daughter, Diane Kollmann of Adell WI; and daughters-in-law, Florence Geiken of Florida and Barbara Manley of Montana; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Geiken; four sons, Brian Geiken, David Geiken, Harlan Geiken and Patrick Manley; one grandson, Eric Geiken, 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.
Grace was such an amazing mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She married the love of her life, Harvey, on August 21, 1948 in Lennox, South Dakota and in 1949 they began their family. Grace worked at the West Bend company where she retired from. Grace had a love of many things, including crocheting, going to church, working in her beautiful flower beds, playing cards and many many more things. She had the biggest heart when it came to people and all kinds of animals, anyone who had the honor of knowing her was truly blessed. Her faith in the Lord and in love is what kept her going so strong for 95 years. Memories of Grace will never fade.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the Hingham Reformed church, from 2 PM to 5 PM with cake and refreshments. Grace’s final resting place will be with her husband and son’s at the Lenox cemetery in Lennox, South Dakota.
