Helen Waldo, 95, Green Bay, passed away July 29, 2014. Born on February 23, 1919, she is the daughter of the late Frederick Margell and Tracy Margell Schafer. Helen enjoyed reading, knitting sweaters and other items for a wide array of customers and even donating caps and mittens for needy children, and gardening.
Survived by her son, Jim Waldo (Sandy Kust) of Ashwaubenon; three grandchildren, Craig, Mike, and Todd Waldo; Sandy’s children, Jeff Kust and fiancee Robin Thorrington, Dan (Elizabeth) Kust, Kevin Kust, Stephanie (Kevin) Yeager, Rick (Ashley) Kust; Sandy’s six grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don Broberg.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, Raymond Margell, Verna Broberg, and Anne Tebo.
Private services were held.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Barbara Willems, Unity Hospice, and Care for All Ages staff.
