Henry Edward Leaper, age 87 passed away peacefully on July 10, 2016 while in the loving care of Unity Hospice and staff at Bornemann's Nursing Home. Henry was born in Green Bay on August 20, 1928, the son of the late Verne C. and Katherine E. (Hollister) Leaper. From that point on he remained in Green Bay, living at the family home, and seeing to the care of his aging parents. Henry was a gentle, quiet man, keeping to himself. He was an avid reader, and studied much about the history of Green Bay, sharing his knowledge with all those who showed interest.

Henry is survived by his sister, Mary (Robert) Patenaude, Sun Prairie, WI., and their daughters, Kate (Brad) Grace, Madison, and Meg (Luke) Murphy, Greeley, CO., and niece, Clairann Leaper, Green Bay, and also many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother and sister-in-law, John and Mary Jo Leaper.

There will be no funeral. Cremation and burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay.
