Ivan Edmund Quist

Green Bay - Ivan Quist  passed away on Wednesday September 6th, 2023. He was born on March 5th, 1936, in Caldwell, Idaho.

While stationed with the US Air Force in Two Rivers, he met and married Betty (Mettler) on November 17, 1956, and their marriage was an example of love and commitment not often seen in this day and age as they were married over sixty years. Betty passed away on January 12, 2018. Ivan was a lifelong salesperson, including time at Prudential Insurance and eventually retiring from Rural Life Insurance. 

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather--known for his positive attitude and outlook. He was devoted Packer fan and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren.   

He is further survived by his children: Kelly (Joe) Palmer; Kim Quist; Michael (Tami) Quist; Tracie (Tim) Moldenhauer and his grandchildren: Jason (Megan) Quist; Kayla Palmer; Katie Palmer; Krista Palmer; Tyler (Rachael) Quist; Justin Quist (fiancee Rachel Trbovic); Matthew (Bree) Moldenhauer and Nathan Moldenhauer; special friend, Carol Umentum. Ivan also was survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, his parents Arley and Violet Quist, sister Arlene and brother Ronald; and in-laws, Claude and Winifred Mettler and Sue and Neal Gauthier.  

Visitation on September 19th, from 9 AM to 11 AM. Funeral service at 11 AM, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Parish in Two Rivers, followed by a Christian Burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Unity Hospice or the charity of your choice.
