Jacqueline Renee Phelan, 40, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2023.
Jackie was born in New Jersey on April 27, 1983, to Jerry and Norene Phelan. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with degrees in Advertising & English. She went on to serve in the hospitality industry for many years where she shared her smile and laugh with everyone she met!
Jackie was a beautiful, fun- spirited little girl who could turn a grey sky blue. We learned quickly she was going to be a force of nature- she was fearless, and fun from the start. She loved to play golf, often joining her father any chance she got. She was an incredibly thoughtful and kind person. She had a natural ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved when near her. She was extremely generous, especially when it came to making one of her favorite "Jacks" pizzas or special pretzels with cheese. She loved to write poetry and short stories, and was an avid reader. Jackie had a laugh incomparable to anyone. She was hilarious and just one of the best people to be around. She will forever be remembered as a devoted daughter, a loving sister, a cherished aunt and a genuine friend.
Jackie is survived by her two older sisters Colleen (Corey) and Tracy(Dave), and two beloved nephews Ben and George. She is preceeded in death by her parents Jerry & Norene Phelan, grandparents, George & Irene Hillman, and Robert & Rose Phelan. She is further survived by her Uncle Robert, Uncle Brian(Candace), Aunt Maureen(Frank), Uncle John(Linda), along with many loving cousins and friends.
A memorial will be held to celebrate Jackie's life in the spring. Details are being completed and we will notify family and friends.
