Jim P. Ver Haagh age 78, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at home with his family
by his side. Jim was born on November 19, 1943 in Green Bay to the late Frank and Katherine
(Kolb) Ver Haagh. He was united in marriage to Margaret Van Bogart in Green Bay.
Jim attended and graduated from Green Bay Preble High School. Through the years he worked
several jobs. He was most proud of owning and operating his own full service gas station and
garage.
He enjoyed going “up North”, attending car shows and as his family would describe him he was
a car nut. Wether working on or admiring he loved all sorts of cars.
Left to cherish Jim’s memory are his two sons, Jeff (significant other Tina) and Bob (Tonissa)
Ver Haagh; grandchildren, Drake Ver Haagh and Kayla Quirk; and sister, Jean Weaver. He was
preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marge; grandson, Nick Ver Haagh; and brothers, Wayne
Dan and Kenny.
A memorial visitation will be held for Jim on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Malcore Funeral
Homes-West from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Unity Hospice for all the care,
support and comfort they gave to Jim.
