Jane Louise Forler (Witt)

March 27, 1961 — March 11, 2025

Appleton, WI

Jane Louise Forler (Witt), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on March 11th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on March 27th, 1961, to the late Donald and Joanne Witt of Appleton, WI, Jane brought warmth and kindness into the lives of all who knew her.

In September of 1979, Jane Witt and Raymond Forler met, and it did not take long before they fell deeply in love with one another. Soon after they vowed to never let each other go. And from that moment forward they held each other's hands and hearts and built a family filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories as husband and wife. Jane was the devoted mother of Christopher (Jamie), Sarah (fiancée Brandon), and Michael (fiancée Sheena), not only raising them with love but extending her heart and home to their friends and day care families as well. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, offering comforting hugs and delicious home-cooked meals to all who gathered at her table. She found joy in simple yet beautiful moments— taking long night walks down by the river, swimming in the backyard pool with her grandkids and fur babies, tending to her vibrant rose garden, and embracing life’s adventures. Whether it was a boat ride, a motorcycle trip, or a lively concert, Jane’s spirit of adventure was contagious. But nothing brought her more happiness than family gatherings, where she could proudly dote on her grandchildren; Dre’, Nadia, Hailie, Kayne, Connor, Hayden, Emmett, and bonus grandchildren, sharing in their laughter and milestones.

Jane is further survived by her siblings; Barb Witt, Nancy (John) Van Daalwyk, Sandy (Randy) Pennings, Dwayne (Nancy) Witt, Erv Witt, Robert Witt and many nieces and nephews.

Jane’s love, warmth, and generosity will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of love and family will live on in the memories she created and the lives she touched.

A celebration of Jane’s life will be at HighCliff State Park N7630 State Park Rd, Sherwood, WI 54169 on Sunday June 1st 2025. 11am-3pm with a small service around 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor her memory by sharing a meal with your loved ones or planting a rose in her honor.
