Jeffrey Lee Busarow, 73, passed away peacefully at his home after a 16 month battle with cancer on April 5, 2024.
Jeff was born in Racine on February 25, 1951 to the late Eugene and Judith (nee Berg) Busarow.
After graduation from Horlick High School he attended and graduated from UW-Oshkosh. There he met his lifelong friends Rick Neeman, Chuck Cantor and Jim Livek.
Shortly after graduation from college Jeff moved to Colorado. He lived for 17 years then returned to Racine to marry Candace Smith.
In 2013 he moved to Green Bay to be closer to his parents and sister Jayne. There he met Yvonne Bougie Duffek and they were married June 10th, 2016. Jeff and Yvonne enjoyed travelling and wintering in their Florida home at Silver Lakes community in Naples.
Survivors include his wife Yvonne, sister Jayne Busarow; Aunts Jeanne Christoff, Judy (Bruce) Kosmatka, Carol Busarow and Helen Busarow. Also survived by many cousins and Bougie in-laws..
He was preceded in death by his parents and several beloved Aunts and Uncles.
Family and friends may visit Redeemer Lutheran Church, 210 S. Oneida St., Green Bay, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Busarow Memorial Scholarship Fund #21867 at Concordia Seminary (801 Seminary Pl, St Louis MO 63105) and Unity Hospice have been suggested.
The family would like to thank the staff at Unity Hospice in Northeast Wisconsin for all their care and compassion.
